We strive to ensure our guests have a fun day at Bushwood. In order to have a fun experience there are some policies that we require our guests to follow for the betterment of all guests and staff, which are not limited to this page:

Power carts : to rent a power cart you must be 21 or older.

  • This is a policy of our insurance company. You may be required to show proof of age is asked.
  • Proof of age is government photo Identification. This policy is non- negotiable with our pro shop and operations staff. All Property or personal injury with power carts is the responsibility of the individual who has rented the power cart. 

 

Pace of Play:

  • The Championship Course is par 72   

  • The front 9 is par 37 and the back 9 is par 35 
  • please refer  to the scorecard for pace of play per hole
  • There is a 30 minute time difference between the time to play the front 9 and the back 9.
  • There are clocks on the Championship course which will show you your pace of play in relation to your tee off time.  We have marshals on the golf course to monitor and record the pace of play
  • THE FRONT 9 WILL TAKE 20-30 MINUTES LONGER TO PLAY THAN THE BACK 9 or OTHER REGULATION 9 HOLES

  • 9 Hole Executive Course is par 30
  • the pace of play is between 90 and 110 minutes 
  • Pace of Play Principles for 18 Hole Championship Course & 9 Hole Executive Course:
  • Pace of Play is based on foursomes on the golf course. If you are paired up with other golfers to make a foursome, please stay in the foursome. The pace of play is disrupted by groups that split up and play in twosomes or as singles. 
  • Fivesomes are not permitted and will be asked to leave without a refund. 
  • Each golfer must have their own set of clubs
  • Please note if your plans change, or you decide to leave, you will not be issued a rain cheque

 
 Rain Cheque Policy:    
  • Rain cheques are issued if there is torrential downpour, and players are asked to come in and wait for 30 minutes before they will be issued a rain cheque.
  • You must bring your original receipt to be issued a rain cheque.
  • The rain cheque is issued to the individual person’s profile in our system and is not transferable to another person and has no cash value.
  • To redeem your rain cheque you must present it at the pro shop. If it does not come up in the system, it means it has already been redeemed by you. 
  • Rain cheques are only valid in the season they were given and expire at the end of the same season issued.

 

 

  •  Age Restrictions & Player Policies:
  • Players must be 8 years of age and older to play on either of the golf courses, once accompanied by adults.
  • All golfers must have their own set of clubs. 
  • Walkers on the golf course must pay a walking fee, and must be at a minimum, 8 years of age or older. 
  • These are safety requirements of our insurance company – NO EXCEPTIONS
  •  Please be Considerate and Respectful of Our Staff

Our cancellation policy is 24 hours in advance. All unused or” no show” tee times will be charged to the booking party.  Please call in or modify your time online up to 24 hours ahead of your scheduled time to cancel with no penalty. Please note the youngest age junior golfer is 8 years of age and they must pay a green fee and have their own set of clubs. Children are not allowed to walk or accompany others on the golf course under the age of 8. Children going on to the golf course must be 8 and older and pay a walking fee in the pro shop. No Exceptions.

9 Hole Executive course – Par 30 Takes approximately 90 minutes to play-

Each golfer must have their own set of clubs. 

Non golfers must pay a walking fee.
